Resolving joint pain or bite issues caused by healthy teeth shifting into missing tooth space.
Restoring proper chewing, speaking, and smiling abilities.
Supporting dentures or bridges for a secure fit and added comfort.
Enhancing youthful facial features through proper support from tooth roots.
Restoring your beautiful, confident smile!
What does getting dental implants involve?
The implants process requires several visits to our office throughout a few months. The first step is to take X-rays and create impressions of your teeth to evaluate the adequacy of your jaw bone and gum tissue for holding an implant. If so, the affected area is numbed with a local anesthetic and the titanium post is surgically placed in the empty space. Depending on the dental implant, the post and abutment may be implanted at one time or in two separate surgeries.
During the healing period of up to 6 months, the artificial teeth are custom-designed based on your distinct needs and preferences. To ensure superior stability and comfort, this step may require several fittings over the course of two months.
Upon completion, your dentist will provide you with detailed care instructions to help your dental implants last many years. We will advise you on the proper routine for oral hygiene, good dietary habits, as well as regular checkups at our office. During these checkups, we will watch for normal wear and tear, re-tightening or replacing the implants as needed.
