I appreciate the time you’ve taken to visit this site and find out more about this dental practice, my team, and the many services we can provide to help you achieve optimum oral health.

“Hi. I’m Dr. Stanley Heleniak. Before I tell you about myself, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to find out about me and my dental practice, North Penn Dental Arts.

I know that choosing a dentist is a very personal experience. You are putting your trust in me and my staff and I take that responsibility very seriously.

It is my personal goal to provide you with the best dental care available...and do so while making you as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

I care as much about how you feel before, during and after your visit as I do about providing excellent dental services.

I have been providing general and cosmetic dentistry for over 30 years. But my commitment to making patients comfortable led me to take my dental expertise to a new level. After graduating from dental school I went on to post graduate studies and became a “board certified” dentist anesthesiologist.

That means I am expertly trained and certified to evaluate any sedation needs you may have and administer them in a safe and effective manner.

I give my patients the highest level of attention to detail and a gentle hand when providing dental care. I am as interested in helping you achieve the smile of your dreams as I am in helping you prevent dental disease, striving for optimum oral health.

So, whether you just need a routine cleaning and checkup, or are ready for a beautiful smile transformation allow me and my knowledgeable staff to make your dental care and routine easier and more comfortable than you ever imagined possible.”

“I am passionate about helping people achieve their oral health goal of a beautiful and healthy smile. I strive to provide a gentle touch and a comfortable experience, treating all my patients like I would my family.

Raised in Bucks County, I didn’t stray far from home during my education. I received my Bachelors in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College graduating cum laude. My DMD degree was earned at Temple University. Upon graduation, I settled down to practice locally.

I currently live in Bensalem, PA with my partner Nicole, our 4 year old son Patrick “PJ” and almost 2 year old son Liam. You can catch me on the baseball field cheering on PJ or at the shore on the weekends soaking up the sun with family. We also enjoy visiting the dog park with my rescue dog, Blackjack, a 4 year old lab mix and our newest member of the family, Batman.

I am a member of the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association and American Dental Association.”

My goal as your dentist is to make your experience as comfortable as possible. I strive to ensure that I am always listening to your specific needs and concerns, so I can provide treatment tailored to you. I also love educating my patients about their oral health and making sure they have a lasting and healthy smile!

I received my B.S. in Biochemistry from Villanova University. I then went on to earn my DMD at Temple University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following graduation, I completed a one-year general practice residency at Abington Memorial Hospital.

I was raised in Monmouth County, NJ, but the Philadelphia area has now became my home. I currently live with my fiancé, Ryan, and 2 cats, Stella and Luna, in Newtown, PA and have quickly grown accustomed to the suburbia lifestyle.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and traveling whenever I get the chance!

Here is some background information about me:

Dr. Lanning received his B.S. in Biology and Physiology from Colorado State University. He received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia where he was a member of the Stomatognathic Honor Society.

After dental school Dr. Lanning served as a dental officer in the Navy. He completed a one-year residency in advanced general dentistry at Naval Station, Great Lakes, IL.

He then served for 3 years as a general dentist for the Marine Corps at Twentynine Palms, CA in support of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was awarded the Navy-Marine Corp Achievement medal for his dedication to duty.

It was during this time that Dr. Lanning realized that he had a passion for Endodontics, and decided to pursue specialty training. He was accepted to the post-graduate residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia where he recently completed the 2-year residency program in Endodontics.

During his Endodontic specialty training Dr. Lanning learned the most up to date techniques for all phases of the Endodontic specialty, including the use of the dental operating microscope, root canal therapy, Endodontic re-treatment, dental trauma management and apical surgery.

“I’ve been told that my reassuring demeanor helps patients relax while I improve and maintain their healthy smile. You can rest assured that I’ll provide you with the personalized attention and gentle, professional dental care you deserve.

I was raised on Long Island, NY, and attended SUNY Stony Brook, earning a Bachelors in Biology (BS). I continued my education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, earning a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). I was immediately accepted into Temple University’s Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology, earning my Periodontics Certificate, Masters in Oral Biology. I am a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

I am an avid cyclist and can be found most sunrises riding along the Schuylkill River, taking in the serenity before the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I try to carry over that same feeling of serenity to my patients as I understand that a dental visit can be stressful to some people.”
